World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade of an item lets players increase the gear rating of an Item upgrader mod by up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like an ideally broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as the chance to crit, attack damage PvE and damage to PvP. Weapons also have an unchanging bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. A lot of weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. In some instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For example an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue to rise until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. While this is usually beneficial however, it could have negative effects as well. Upgrades can render items unusable, unless you are exceptionally lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their performance. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms it will boost its base defense while a belt and gloves will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also offers the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it could change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats it will gain when upgrading, along with the values of these stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button within the Best item upgrader menu using the circling arrows. This will roll the item and change its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make huge differences in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, which can make the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has the more value you can get from every point of health you possess and it's crucial to upgrade your armor as much as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four in total, and each requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've done the main side quest and completed the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to contact any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to an increase of 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid environments with a lot of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense so that you can survive a raid with your friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to concentrate on upgrading it for physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use for the final boss battle, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also get some benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades to the weapon you'll use to win the game. For instance the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have some upgrades to the armor on your chest and helmets to allow you to sneak around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed, give the player a temporary status effect. There are five different types of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be obtained by crafting them on a crafting table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion used and the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potions that you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP level.

Once a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade unless you take it out again or break the bottle in the container it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to rename it.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the way potions are used. For example, splash potions now have a duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item). The table of potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. The same is true for using a potion within the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone is also added to potions that are lingering to increase their effect. The table of potions has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, such as the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is an ornamental Best item upgrade that is small, cheap or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an ornament or object that serves a purpose, but isn't important, like a Thimble. In certain cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, particularly between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons or armor, as well as potions. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrade upgrades, trinkets can be swapped out at will without losing their status.

The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with tokens, gold, or fragments from trinkets that are rare.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a brand new trinket. One can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as older one, and come with an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they are no longer useful which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondary items and finally, other pieces of gear that they will not be replacing in the near future (for example an earring or cloak). When deciding which items to upgrade players should consider the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player and they want to upgrade their helm, chest and shoulders.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they are no longer useful, and the new trinket will receive an additional 1% upgrade bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than purchasing a new one.
