Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The ability to upgrade items allows players to enhance their weapons and gear with new affixes, increasing its base stats or adding additional perks. To upgrade an item, the player has to have it in their inventory, as well as access to the kiln.

Items that have weak bases, like rings can be upgraded to more robust bases. Items with strong bases, like eth Titans have little change in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into trinkets, weapons, armor and tools for gathering, offering an attribute bonus or additional effect while the equipment is in use. Rerolling
