Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly referred to as "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment provides an increase in linearity of the stats of a particular.

Players can recycle six items at one time to gain a gauge for each item's upgraded component. The cost of recycling a piece of equipment increases depending on their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade to an item is a method to increase the stats on your weapons and armor. Rerolled items are not listed in the menu of upgrade options, but they can still be upgraded.
